The program
can offer specialisation in accounting frauds and industry can
engage such professionals to mitigate risks that they are now
exposed to. Such a program can be structured to include practical

To develop a
charter on corporate frauds policy which can be implemented
across various industries

What is the biggest fraud risk
according to you for the organisations in India ?
There is no
one standard risk . But organizations have to mature in terms of
recruiting , develop policies and methods to deal with frauds .

What
do you see as some of the major potential fraud problems in your
Industry ?
In services
industry and where retailing is involved , cash is the biggest
risk and the scond biggest is credit cards . As the industry is still
young , customer satisfaction takes an important role . This can throw
some challenges in terms of handling risks associated with it .

Did
CFAP benefited you professionally ?
It has certainly
benefited .The course need to be advertised widely and then it will
gain acceptance everywhere .

Any guidance to the members
willing to pursue the CFAP designation ?
Fraud and risk
management are new paradigms for Indian industry and CFAP will help in
understanding this better .
