Pradeep Akkunoor, a Fraud Examiner and Criminologist, is the co-founder and Director of Indiaforensic Consultancy Services (ICS), a Pune-based forensic accounting and fraud examination services firm. Pradeep holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the prestigious Pune University and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Bank Forensic Accountant (CBFA) and Certified Forensic Accounting Professional (CFAP).

Pradeep is a multi-faceted individual and has experience in fields as diverse as Journalism, Management, Information Technology and Fraud Examination. As a freelance journalist, he wrote over 100 bylined articles for The Times of India and The Economic Times, writing on Technology, Business and Youth-centric topics. He is also the founding-editor of Fraud Today, India's only publication dedicated to white-collared crime. As an IT professional, Pradeep worked with SunGard, a financial technology giant with $4 Billion+ in revenues, where he received 'Star of the Quarter' award from the CEO (India) for exceptional contribution to the company. He also worked with SAS R&D India Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of SAS, a world leader in Business Intelligence and Analytics software.
 
He is a dynamic speaker and has delivered lectures at national seminars and conferences organized by leading organizations like RBI, UoP, VAMNICOM, St. MIra's College of Commerce and others, on topics ranging from Fraud Examination, Investigation Techniques to Money Laundering. He is also quoted extensively in the media, and his opinion has been published in leading news media like The Times of India, The Indian Express, CNN-IBN, Hindu Business Line, Moneycontrol.com, Yahoo News, Voice and Data et al.As the Director of ICS, Pradeep holds multiple responsibilities including business development and client relationship, conducting research and organizing studies. He also takes part in the consulting and investigation assignments.
